This Small and Medium Enterprise (SMEs) Digitalisation Initiative is offered to local SMEs as a provision for digital adoption set out in the Budget 2020. All eligible business owners may obtain digitalisation services from service providers registered with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).

Are You Eligible for this Initiative?
The company is at least 60% owned by Malaysians.
The company is registered under the relevant laws of Malaysia. For Cooperative (“Koperasi”), to be registered under Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia (SKM)
The SME/Coop has been in operation for at least 6 months
The Company/Coop is required to have an average annual sales turnover minimum of RM50,000.
Documents Needed
A copy of Identity Card or Passport of Director (s) / Partner (s) / Proprietor(s) / applicant appointed by the Coop Board, whichever is applicable
Latest two (2) months bank statement OR latest audited financial statements OR latest financial management account statement
Quotation / Invoice from an authorized vendor listed by MDEC
Completed Application Form & Declaration Form
Copy of business registration licenses (CCM, or any similar forms under the Companies Act 2016); For Coop, a copy of SKM registration certificate
Application Process

The Applicant (SME/Coop) to contact and appoint Zoewebs for digitalisation services

The applicant to complete and submit the application form along with required documents to Zoewebs.

Zoewebs will compile your applications, and send to the bank

SME to submit proof of the payment to the BSN branch where the application is processed

Applicants will need to make a 50% payment of the total invoice amount

Bank processes the application and notifies applicants regarding the approval status
7
BSN branch will update HQ to process the grant disbursement
8
Zoewebs to be notified of the disbursement
